Prineville Community Church

In their latest letters to Community Church, Steve and Dawn are praising the Lord for spiritual growth they see taking place among the Yanomami.  They continue to work on their translation of the New Testament and are hoping to have several of the epistles ready to print in booklet form and given to the Indians so they can begin to have their own copies of these Scriptures to read and study.  Please continue to pray for them as they strive toward the completion of the New Testament.

Pray for Steve as he makes decisions about his future ministry with the Yanomami.  He is considering putting translation work on the back burner (since Patty, a Brazilian co-worker is now able to do translation work) and focusing his effort on teaching the Yanomami how to use the Scriptures and spending one-on-one time reading the Scriptures with them.
