Pastor Chris is a native Oregonian. He graduated from Heppner High School. A major portion of Chris’ time in Heppner was invested in the family cattle ranch. After high School he attended Blue Mountain Community College, majoring in agriculture production with the plan to return home and ranch.
God’s plans were different; a little over a year after college Chris decided to attend Bible School out of obedience to the call of God upon his life. He attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, where he met Shera. They were married in June of 2001. They graduated from Baptist Bible College in 2002. Upon graduation, Chris immediately enrolled in the campus’ Graduate School of Theology and began working toward the Master of Divinity degree.
In his spare time Chris enjoys spending time with family, hunting and studying theology.
Chris was called to be our senior pastor in July of 2006. His primary goal in pastoring is to faithfully proclaim the Word of God so that the individual Christian will be equipped to build up the body of Christ (Eph. 4:11-12).
